About Travis Nelson

I am thrilled on achieving Royal LePage's Top Tier status by earning the 2021 Royal LePage Diamond Award! It is a remarkable accomplishment to be recognized in the Top 3% of Royal LePage agents in our regional market and among the elite performers in our national network of more than 19,000 REALTORS®. I also had the honour to be ranked #34 among the Top 100 Ranked Agents in Canada 2021 and #1 Top Rated Agent in Comox by These achievements demonstrate my relentless commitment to service excellence, hard work and high level of success over this past year. My continued dedication to the trade, and my ability to rise to challenges before me are examples of the foundation my business is built upon. Going on 43 years now, I have had the pleasure of growing up in the Comox Valley and calling it my home and over these years I have gained a wealth of knowledge about this beautiful Valley and the communities that make it up. Growing up in a military family is what first brought me to the Valley as my Father was transferred to Comox in 1980. My upbringing makes me compassionate when working with relocating military families as I can relate to the excitement and emotions that go with moving a family to a new home! With a rewarding career as an Officer in the Canadian Coast Guard and the closure of the Comox Coast Guard MCTS station in 2016, I was not wanting to leave this beautiful Valley, so I soon found myself drawn to a new career in Real Estate. After completion of my Real Estate Trading Services Licensing through the the Sauder School of Business Real Estate Division at UBC, I happily found myself with Royal LePage in the Comox Valley in 2017, a fantastic brokerage that made me see why Royal LePage is Canada’s Real Estate Company It is with my years as an entrepreneur and business owner and later as a CG Officer that I attribute to my successes in business and career. They also helped create a firm belief in work ethic built on trust and respect. I blend my passions for local knowledge, real estate and marketing to help my clients better understand the buying and selling process and to make sure my clients find the home that is perfect for their wants and family needs. Living an active lifestyle is a big part of who I am, as seen with seven successful years in the eco-tourism Industry in the Comox Valley as owner/operator of Coast Mountain Adventure Tours from 1996 to 2003. Though my knees no longer let me enjoy hiking the local mountains these days, you will still find me in them either camping or exploring in my UTV. With so many things to do in the Comox Valley it easy to see why I have called it home for over four decades.
